I was born Summer of 1993 in Pamplona.<\/p>\n

I was introduced to mountaineering early on in my childhood thanks to my parents, I come from a family prone to spending leisure time in nature. From simple hiking trips to consistent weekend outings, it wasn\u2019t to surprise that rock climbing with my father became part of my routinely activities. My father, a true alpine climber, with patience and consistency, introduced me to alpinism when my curiosity and insisting became enough.<\/p>\n

With time, my horizon of experiences expanded and with it my interest in learning more about sport climbing, rock climbing, cross country skiing, ice climbing and eventually alpine climbing. My time spent in the Pyrenees led me to make many acquaintances and in certain cases strong friendships. It was with these individuals with whom I came to live exceptional mountain adventures.<\/p>\n

It was around this time that I became to focus all my efforts on the Mountain. Mikel Zabalza and Unai Mendia whom I can proudly call my good friends I hold responsible for. They\u2019ve transmitted a love for our surroundings, a passion for the mountain. Their way of life around alpinism depicts humility, austerity and utmost commitment. Embedding a new perspective towards alpinism, a way of understanding the mountain, an axis of reference. Goes hand in hand with simple, yet what I would consider as utmost valuable, sportsmanship and respect.<\/p>\n

With years of experience, new adventures never ceased to present themselves. Driven by fervor, my aspiration resulted in periodic trips to the Alps to climb the strenuous northern faced mountains: Grand Jorasses, Eiger, Matterhorn, Aiguille Verte, etc., resulting in dedication induced trips to Peru, Nepal, India, Pakistan and Alaska.<\/p>\n

Academic wise, I studied sport sciences in Huesca, Spain, where I received my Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. Luckily, I found myself situated at the foot of the Pyrenees mountain range where I spent all of the time I could spare on rock climbing, evidently this impacted how I\u2019d apply my studies to my future. At the end of my studies it was very clear me that I wanted to pursue my studies as a career. I decided to further my academic path at the Kirolene School for Specialized Sports Vocational Training where I ultimately received my certificate as an IFMGA Mountain Guide.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Ever since the end of my studies I\u2019ve exclusively worked independently in relation to my professional career. A nomadic life perhaps, where most of my time is invested in the Alps or some foreign land such as Antartica; a place, fore if it weren\u2019t for my professional background I may never have set foot.<\/p>\n

Its a way of life. I dedicate most of my time with my clients in the mountains, and for me, it has become a virtue. It is something I truly enjoy, and with it, encourage my fellow mountaineers to discover the essence of absorbing each experience, sharing what I know and how I live each outing.<\/p>\n

In 2023, I received my Master’s Degree in Teaching with the intention of acquiring the right tools to better my teaching in professional career related disciplines.<\/p>\n

In 2025, thanks to the dedication and time invested in Alpinism I was nominated by Alpinist Mikel Zabalza to receive the honor of being promoted as Director of the Men\u2019s Alpinism Team for the Spanish National Federation for Mountain and Climbing Sports. The next three years to come will serve me as a new responsibility which prompts the best of one\u2019s self to allow young enthusiasts to acquire more experience and knowledge in the demanding technical practice of Alpinism.<\/p>\n

Today I live in Etxauri, just a few kilometers from Pamplona. Just as I began, I continue to spend my free time rock climbing with my parents and friends. Though I spend much of my year in the Alps, Antartica and other destinations, to this day I frequently pass time in the Pyrenees, a range which never ceases to surprise me. It is a place I hold to heart.<\/p>\n
